Drivers were forced to pass through flames and smoke on the 210 Freeway, when a wildfire erupted in La Tuna Canyon north of Burbank, Los Angeles, on Friday, September 1.  The 210 Freeway was closed to traffic in the area after the fire jumped the road and grew to over 2,000 acres, according to the Los Angeles Times.  Evacuation orders were issued to hundreds of homes in the path of the fire as firefighters, fire helicopters, and Super Scooper planes worked to contain the blaze.
