Accessing the WeatherBug MARPLOT^® Data Feed

Note: You must download the installation application before using these instructions.

The WeatherBug MARPLOT Data Feed is designed to enrich MARPLOT with WMS layers, and provide the three weather variables required to do plume models. Please follow the steps outlined below to enable the WeatherBug Data Feed:

1. Open the MARPLOT Application.
2. Click on View on the top navigation menu, and select Basemap Builder.
3. The Basemap Layers box will show WeatherBug as a selectable item. Click on the box next to WeatherBug.
4. Three weather variables are shown. Temperature, Relative Humidity, and Wind Speed and Direction. Click on the box next to the desired variable. Select only 1 variable at a time.
5. Click on the OK button at the bottom of the screen.

MARPLOT will access the WeatherBug Data Feed and create the weather layer.

Repeat the Steps 2-5 above to change weather variables.
