A soggy middle of the week will continue across the central U.S. Wednesday, while sunshine will prevail on both coasts. In the Rockies the winter won`t let up, as snow showers stay in the forecast.
A slow-moving storm system will continue to wreak havoc on the southern Plains and lower Mississippi Valley. A front associated with this storm will bring showers and thunderstorms from the Great Lakes south through the lower Mississippi Valley and into the southern Plains and Texas. Highs will range from 60s in the Ohio valley, 70s across the southern Plains and lower Mississippi Valley and into the 80s and 90s across Texas.
To the east, another day of sunshine will lead to pleasant temperatures in the 70s from the Northeast to the Mid-Atlantic and 80s across the Southeast and Florida peninsula.
Mountain snow showers and valley rain will continue across the southern Rockies on Wednesday with highs ranging from the upper 50s to the lower 60s across the Rockies. Highs in the 60s will mix with sunny skies creating a pleasantly cool Wednesday across the central and northern Plains.
Sunny, dry conditions will continue across the Southwest and the Pacific Coast. Highs will range from the 90s in the Desert Southwest, 80s along the California Coast and into the upper 60s and 70s in the Pacific Northwest.
