You no longer need to worry about weather coming your way. No matter where you are, you can relax knowing that if the weather is changing, you will know about it! WeatherBug has teamed up with The Villages Homeowners Association and The Villages Public Safety Department to provide you and your neighbors with the most up-to-date weather that is happening right in your own community.
WeatherBug Protect sends you live weather alerts before severe weather strikes. These alerts come directly to your mobile phone, BlackBerry and your email address. WeatherBug Protect provides live alerts based on weather monitored at weather stations in and around The Villages alerting you to the following:

Our Basic service option sends alerts to one phone and one email address. Choose Basic Plus if you have a second residence outside of The Villages (within the U.S.) to monitor weather for both locations all year long. Our Family options offer the same services, but for two mobile telephones and email addresses.

WeatherBug Plus
When you sign-up for WeatherBug Protect alerting service, you will receive a copy of WeatherBug Plus software. This special program designed for The Villages, provides access to live weather and forecasts from the closest weather station in The Villages, right on your computer desktop. Your computer will chirp to alert you of severe weather alerts.
WeatherBug Digital Display
Turn your home into a weather command center with the WeatherBug Digital Display. This LCD panel provides current weather data collected from the nearest weather station in The Villages. Digital Display provides current wind speed and direction, temperature, wind chill/heat index, dew point, rainfall amounts (day, month, year), barometer, humidity and light readings. Requires a pc and internet connection.
This is a must have for the true weather connoisseur!
