UPDATED By WeatherBug Sr. Meteorologist, Julie Gaddy
Previously a powerful hurricane, Kenneth lost its tropical characteristics today. Remnants of Kenneth remain as a mass of clouds drifting over the wide-open eastern Pacific.
Kenneth made history earlier this week as the latest major hurricane in the eastern North Pacific Ocean since storms have been tracked by satellites. At its peak, Kenneth was a powerful category Four Hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson Scale.
The official last day of hurricane season is on November 30. For more information about November hurricanes, check out this story
