The strong low-pressure system associated with the storm exited the Northeast early this morning, bringing a last bit of snow to Maine. Six to twelve inches of snow has fallen since Saturday from the Central Plains to New England with this storm, and light snow will continue through this afternoon across extreme northeastern Maine.
All warnings have been discontinued. However, extreme northern Maine could see an additional two to four inches of snow this afternoon, bringing total snowfall accumulations into the 10 to 15 inch range.

At the same time, a strong northwest wind flowing across the eastern Great Lakes is producing widespread lake-effect snow squalls. The usual snow belts of northeastern Ohio, northwestern Pennsylvania and western New York will continue to see these squalls through early this evening. Parts of western New York and northwestern Pennsylvania will see another couple of inches on top of the nearly six inches seen since late Sunday.
In the Mid-Atlantic and coastal New England, strong, gusty winds have begun to diminish. Wind gusts as high as 60 mph were reported overnight, and will continue to remain strong through this afternoon, especially across higher elevations of the Appalachians. Winds will subside by this evening as strong high pressure expands out of Mississippi Valley.
