Major Nor'easter Walloping Mid-Atlantic, Spreading into Northeast

A major coastal storm is taking shape across southeastern Virginia this morning, bringing heavy snow and a bit of ice to the already storm-ravaged Mid-Atlantic. Snow has spread north along the Interstate 95 corridor into New York City. The snow is just one element of this storm as gusty winds will combine with the heavy snow to produce dangerous blizzard conditions from the Mid-Atlantic into southern New England.
