What is WeatherBug Mobile On Demand?

WeatherBug On Demand will provide subscribers with Mobile Forecasts or Mobile Conditions for any U.S. ZIP Code. Mobile Forecasts subscribers receive a 3-day forecast in a text message for the ZIP Code requested. Mobile Conditions subscribers receive the current weather observations in a text message for the ZIP Code requested.

Why would I use it?

WeatherBug Mobile On Demand is the easiest way to receive live weather conditions or an up-to-date 3-day forecast on your mobile phone whenever you need it! It’s the perfect solution for the business traveler, the vacationer or the busy parent planning a weekend. Where ever you are in the U.S., Mobile On Demand is there!

How much does it cost?

WeatherBug On Demand Mobile Forecasts is billed at $0.75 per 3-day forecast text message. The WeatherBug Mobile Conditions is billed at $0.75 per current conditions text message. Each $0.75 charge will be billed directly to your mobile phone bill.

How do I use it?

To receive a Mobile Forecast, simply Text F & your Zip Code to GOBUG(46284). For example, "F 60601". The first time you try the program, reply Y to the confirmation message sent to your mobile phone to get your 3-day forecast text message. Each subsequent time, you’ll get the forecast message automatically after sending the request!

To receive Mobile Conditions, simply Text T & your Zip Code to GOBUG(46284). For example, "T 94101". The first time you try the program, reply Y to the confirmation message sent to your mobile phone to get your current weather observation text message. Each subsequent time, you’ll get the current conditions message automatically after sending the request!

For each, you will need a mobile phone that can send AND receive text messages.

Can I unsubscribe?

Send "STOP F" to unsubscribe from Mobile Forecasts, or "STOP T" to unsubscribe from Mobile Conditions.

WeatherBug On Demand is a one time text message service. Subscribers will only receive one (1) text message per US ZIP code request.

Does it work for my carrier?

Currently the following mobile phone companies support WeatherBug On Demand — Boost Mobile, Cellular One, Cingular (and former AT&T Wireless customers), Dobson, Nextel, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon.
