Traffic was stopped and vehicles were left abandoned just south of Buffalo, New York, after heavy lake snow fell on the area on Thursday, January 5.
The band of lake-effect snow dropped two feet on some areas, causing traffic to stall in place between 3 and 8 pm, reported the Buffalo News. A traffic advisory was issued warning against unnecessary travel on Thursday afternoon.
According to the uploader, the video was taken from E and West Road in Buffalo. He said he saw 30 vehicles stranded and several school buses stuck.
