WeatherBug Participates at the Developers Sandbox at Google I/O, May 27 and 28, 2009
Android Application to Include Detailed Weather Maps, Radar Animation and Severe Weather Alerts San Francisco, Calif. — WeatherBug®, the leading provider of live, local weather information and services, will showcase its premier mobile weather application that runs on the new version of the Android platform, Android 1.5, in the Android demo area at the Developers Sandbox at Google I/O 2009. Chris Sloop, CTO and Co-Founder of WeatherBug, and Chris Brozenick, GM and Vice President of WeatherBug Mobile, will be available onsite to answer any inquiries. WeatherBug Elite includes enhanced features such as widgets with alerts notification, radar animation and detailed weather maps that display lightning strikes and National Weather Service warnings. WeatherBug Elite for Android will launch in Q3/09.
Event Details: Google I/O is a developer gathering focused on pushing the boundaries of web applications using Google and open web technologies. I/O 2009 will provide attendees with two days full of in-depth breakout sessions on the latest technologies, and informal Q&A at fireside chats.
