WeatherBug Announces New Elite Application for the iPhone and iPod touch
Available Now on Apple App Store

Germantown, Md. — WeatherBug^®a leading provider of live, local weather information for consumer and professional users, today announced that its new Elite application for the iPhone and iPod touch is available on the Apple App Store. The new WeatherBug Elite app for iPhone and iPod touch will be free of advertising and includes: full radar animation and six additional contour layers including infrared satellite, humidity, air pressure, and wind speed.

• Enhanced current conditions section - now with 12 distinct observations;
• Touch anywhere map technology enables users to "drop a pin" and view current weather conditions for location;
• Full presentation of entire National Weather Service alerts;
• Time-lapse animation for weather cameras;
• Unlimited location settings; and
• Two new weather map layers: temperature contour and satellite infrared
