SENIOR WEATHERBUG METEOROLOGISTS AVAILABLE TO PROVIDE EXPERT COMMENTARY ON 2009 ACTIVE HURRICANES AND TROPICAL STORMS

Who: The WeatherBug Met Ops Desk is actively tracking the paths of Hurricane Bill and Tropical Depressions Ana and Claudette. Meteorologists are available to provide the media with commentary and information on current conditions; expert analysis and recommendations for public safety preparations from the potentially devastating effects of the storms.

What: WeatherBug operates approximately 1,600 weather stations across the lower Atlantic East Coast (from Florida through Virginia) and Gulf Coast (from Florida through Texas), including 240 live cameras that provide live and animated images from the station locations on http://www.weatherbug.com.
