Julie Gaddy
Senior Meteorologist
Julie Gaddy started working at WeatherBug in January 2007 as a Senior Meteorologist.
She spent over five years as a surface transportation weather forecaster prior to joining
WeatherBug. For nearly two years, Gaddy worked at the National Weather Service’s Scientific
Services Division, specializing in Remote Sensing applications. She spent her college years at
Florida State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology and later received a
Masters in Meteorology from University of Oklahoma.
Fun Fact: In Gaddy’s spare time she enjoys playing sports or a game of chess, trying her hand at amateur radio, and blogging. She also does part-time work as an online instructor of Meteorology for aviation students.
