Milwaukee weather changes dramatically throughout the year. Summer high temperatures average in the 80’s while in the winter, temperatures often remain stuck below the freezing mark.
Despite lying along Lake Michigan, Milwaukee weather is not largely influenced by lake effect snows. This is due to the prevailing westerly winds which supply the greatest snowfall to locations along the east coast of the lake, whereas Milwaukee lies on the west coast.
