Seattle Weather Info
The “Rainy City” owes its name not to the amount of rain it receives each year, but instead to how often it is cloudy and rainy. Seattle weather is some of the dreariest on the planet, with rain or cloudy conditions occurring over 200 days each year.
The city’s location along the Puget Sound and subsequent cloudiness do not allow for Seattle weather to change much throughout the year. High temperatures average in the 70’s during the summer and the 40’s for the winter.
