Winter weather advisory in effect until 2 PM cst this afternoon... Through this morning...patchy drizzle and very light rain will move northeast at 25 mph across south central Texas. Most areas will have freezing rain mixing in with the light rain. Temperatures will continue to fall during the early morning hours...and therefore a wider area is expected to receive freezing rain through the next few hours. Liquid rainfall accumulation will be a few hundredths of an inch. Most areas south of highway 90 are expected to remain above freezing through 6 AM. However...temperatures across areas north of highway 90 are already near...or below freezing. Light ice accumulations are therefore possible by 6 AM...especially across exposed areas and raised surfaces such as bridges.
