The pollen levels for Saturday will be rising in the high range. This rise is a result of strong winds and decreasing humidity. This heavy increase in pollen concentration could very well cause problems for those who are allergic to airborne pollens.

The quantity of pollen grains in the air for Friday will be falling into the very low range. Since the weather has a major influence on pollen dispersal, this decrease is due in part to rising humidity, strong winds and heavy rains in the afternoon which tend to wash pollen out of the air.

Although plants with showy flowers tend to be less allergenic, some still cause allergy if their pollen becomes airborne. An example is the tree called catalpa, which has large, distinct, and numeous white flowers, and is a source of allergy for some people.
