A cold front continues to move southeast across north Texas. At 9 PM the front was located south of a line from Temple to Mexia to Canton. North of the front winds were north to northwest and temperatures had mostly cooled into the 30s and 40s. Mild conditions continued under cloudy skies to the south of the front. Through midnight...widespread freezing rain will occur mainly northwest of a Sweetwater to Henrietta line. Some very light freezing rain may occur across the area northwest of a Breckenridge to Decatur to Sherman line. Farther southeast...scattered showers will occur east of a Sherman to Fort Worth to Killeen line. Isolated thunderstorms will occur between Cameron and Sulphur Springs. Expect the rain to increase after midnight as an upper level disturbance pushes east northeast into the area. Isolated embedded thunderstorms are also possible overnight.
