Early this morning...showers and embedded thunderstorms extended generally along a Gainesville to Fort Worth to Goldthwaite line. This activity was moving to the east and southeast at around 10 to 15 mph. More isolated showers and a few thunderstorms were noted ahead of the main area of precipitation near Kaufman and Centerville. This activity was generally moving towards the north at around 5 to 10 mph. Through sunrise...showers and thunderstorms will likely continue across much of north and central Texas. The main Hazards with the stronger thunderstorms will be cloud to ground lightning...gusty winds...and heavy rain. In addition...showers will also be capable of producing periods of heavy rain. Otherwise...skies should remain partly to mostly cloudy across the region.
