Nashville Weather Info

Nashville weather is typical of most southern U.S. cities. Summers are warm and humid with temperatures regularly reaching into the 80’s while winters tend not to get too cold.

During the spring and summer, severe thunderstorms can plague the area. One of the worst tornado outbreaks in Nashville weather history occurred in April 1998. Three tornadoes struck the city that day causing major damage to buildings downtown.
