At 7:22 PM... National Weather Service Doppler radars continued to detect a Broad area of rain showers with isolated embedded thunder affecting parts of eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas... Most of which was occurring south of highway 412. The precipitation was spreading to the north and east. Through 9 PM... Rain showers with isolated thunderstorms will continue to develop and spread northeast across eastern Oklahoma and into parts of western Arkansas. Locally heavy rainfall and ocassional lightning are anticipated from isolated embedded thunderstorms.
Occasional rain showers and scattered thunderstorms. Some thunderstorms may produce heavy rainfall. Lows around 40. North winds 10 to 15 mph. Gusts up to 40 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation 90 percent.
Mostly cloudy with chance of light rain in the morning...then partly cloudy with slight chance of light rain in the afternoon. Very windy. Highs in the lower 40s. North winds 30 to 35 mph decreasing to 20 to 30 mph in the afternoon. Gusts up to 45 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.
