At 1:22 AM...Doppler radar detected scattered showers and thunderstorms affecting a large part of eastern Oklahoma and parts of far northwest Arkansas. This activity has undergone some weakening as it Advances southeast at around 30 mph. Through 2:30 AM...scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue to move southeast through the area. Coverage will be widespread over northeast Oklahoma...with isolated coverage likely elsewhere. Wind gusts of 40 to 50 miles per hour will remain possible along the leading edge of this activity...with the potential for isolated gusts to 60. Small hail and heavy downpours will also be possible...with the potential for localized flooding. A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect for much of eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas until 4 AM cdt this morning.
