Through 3 AM...we will see a couple areas of showers and thunderstorms...but severe weather is not expected. One area will be seen over northwest Oklahoma...from just south of Arnett toward Clinton and Weatherford. This small band of showers and isolated thunderstorms will drift slowly to the south and produce some moderate rainfall. A larger area of showers and storms will be seen over far southern Oklahoma and parts of western north Texas...generally near and east of Wichita Falls and Archer City...up toward Waurika. This activity will move slowly to the southeast and will produce heavy rain and perhaps some small hail. Most of the storms will be seen over the southern half of Clay County Texas.
Partly cloudy. Slight chance of thunderstorms in the morning. Highs in the lower 80s. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of thunderstorms 20 percent.
