At 2:30 AM...Doppler radar detected scattered showers and thunderstorms affecting a large part of eastern Oklahoma and a portion of far northwest Arkansas. This activity is generally moving toward the east at around 30 mph. Through 4:00 AM...scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue to move eastward across the area. Coverage will be widespread over northeast Oklahoma... And eventually move into northwest Arkansas. Wind gusts of 35 to 45 mph will remain possible with this activity. Small hail and heavy downpours will also be possible...with the potential for localized flooding. A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect for much of eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas until 4 AM cdt this morning.
