At 7:45 AM...National Weather Service radars continued to indicate a large area of precipitation over most of eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. Rain was falling east of a Bartlesville to Bristow line...while to the west a mixture of rain...sleet...and light snow was occurring. The entire area was slowly shifting to the southeast at 10 miles an hour. Through 10 AM...light to moderate rains will continue north of a Ashland to Ozark line. Rainfall totals up to one quarter of an inch are possible in this area. To the west of a Copan to Bristow line...a mixture of rain...sleet...and snow will continue. Little accumulation is expected through 10 AM.
Rain likely in the morning...then mostly cloudy with slight chance of light rain early in the afternoon. Partly cloudy late in the afternoon. Very windy. Highs in the lower 40s. North winds 25 to 35 mph decreasing to 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Gusts up to 45 mph. Chance of rain 70 percent.
