Regional weather discussion... A complex of thunderstorms will continue early this morning across much of north-central Oklahoma and southern Kansas. At 150 AM... The rain area was along and north of a line from Alva... To Enid... To Stillwater and Cushing. The thunderstorms were moving east-southeast at about 30 mph. This motion will lead to heavy rainfall amounts as storms repeatedly pass over the same locations. Some flooding is possible... Especially near the southern edge of the rain area... Where the heaviest rain is occurring. Some of the stronger storms may also produce small hail and gusty winds. A stationary front extended from the Oklahoma City area... Southwest to near Altus. North of the front... Temperatures were mostly in the lower 60s with northeast winds. South of the front... Temperatures were mostly in the upper 60s and lower 70s... With southeast winds. Temperatures will fall a few more degrees by sunrise.
