A Broad band of snow will continue to stretch over portions of western and central New Mexico this morning. The band will impact the region from Fence Lake to Socorro northeast over the Albuquerque and Santa Fe metro areas including the Sandia and Manzano Mountains...and Espanola. Visibilities may be reduced to 1 to 3 miles at times in snow. Snow accumulations through 9 AM will range from 1 to 2 inches on unpaved surfaces...as well as at elevations near and above 6500 feet. Roads over the higher terrain may become snow packed and icy...and bridges and overpasses may also be slick or icy.
