A band of snow will continue to form over portions of the west central and Southwest Mountains extending northeast over the central and upper Rio Grande valley as well as portions of the central mountains. Snowfall will accelerate within this band and produce lowering visibilities down to a half a mile at times. Communities such as quemado...Acoma Pueblo...Grants and Santa Fe will experience periods of light to moderate snowfall. Accumulations through 2 AM should range between 1 to 1.5 inches in the favored areas. The Albuquerque metro area could receive a light dusting but the main accumulations will occur around Sunset and beyond.
