Hail up to a quarter inch in diameter...wind gusts to 40 mph...brief heavy rainfall and occasional lightning strikes can be expected from these storms.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms in the morning...then thunderstorms and showers likely in the afternoon. Some thunderstorms may be severe with damaging winds... Large hail and heavy rainfall in the afternoon. Highs 70 to 75... 60 to 70 in the mountains. South winds up to 10 mph...increasing to southwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation 70 percent.
