A steady very light snow is falling across the Twin City metro area and most of Minnesota and Wisconsin this afternoon. Cold temperatures are the single digits above zero around metro area and with these cold temperatures the snow is a very Fine powder and it is extra slippery on the walkways and roadways across the region. Expect very light snow accumulations...less then an inch over most of southern Minnesota and west central Wisconsin. The trailing edge is expected to move into central Minnesota between now and 800 PM...then into eastern Minnesota after that.
