Occasional light rain and drizzle will continue to stream northeastward across much of northern and eastern Maryland...and extreme northern Virginia east of the Blue Ridge. Much of the heavier embedded rain has moved to the northeast during the early afternoon...though steady rainfall activity continues down into central Virginia. Much of this activity will be light and intermittent...though visibilities may begin to drop to within a couple of miles with either heavier rain or drizzle. Rainfall of a tenth of an inch or less is expected through 5 PM...with temperatures remaining steady in the upper 40s and lower 50s across much of this region into late afternoon.
