At 215 AM cdt...radar indicated an area of showers and thunderstorms from near Rochelle extending southwest to near Princeton. This area of precipitation was moving to the east northeast at around 45 mph...and will move east of Interstate 39 through 3 AM...and will reach the far western suburbs of Chicago by around 330 AM cdt. Precipitation should be of rather short duration as this area of rain and embedded thunderstorms moves through.
