The Atlantic high pressure ridge offshore from east central Florida will keep southeast winds across the area and warm temperatures this afternoon around 80 at the coast to the lower to mid 80s over the interior. Highs will average 8 to 10 degrees above Normal but record highs are not expected this afternoon. Isolated showers across the Atlantic will move toward the coast with a few moving onshore across the coastal counties before dissipating as they push inland. A moderate risk of rip currents is expected at the beaches with an small easterly swell. Atlantic near shore water temperatures range from the mid 60s at Daytona Beach to the lower 70s at Cocoa Beach... Sebastian inlet...and Fort Pierce. Swim near a life guard and do not swim alone.
