A light south to southeast breeze today will increase moisture. The inland moving east coast sea breeze boundary will be the focus for isolated to scattered showers and storms by early this afternoon. An increase in coverage and intensity of storms will occur later in the afternoon over interior sections. The main Hazard will be lightning strikes...but gusty winds to 40 mph will be a Hazard for boaters mainly on Inland Lakes. Storm motion will be slow to the north northeast...so a few strong storms could also dump 2 inches of rain in a short period of time.
