Morning motorists will encounter some patchy fog and low clouds across the Sacramento and northern San Joaquin Valleys...the adjacent Sierra foothills and the delta region this morning. The fog and low cloud patches are likely to be most numerous on the east side of the valley and near area waterways. Watch for local highway visibilities that may drop to less than 500 feet at times. Most of the fog patches should burn off after 830 AM.
