Current radar indicates stronger storms in the eastern valley and along the Motherlode. Some of these storms may be capable of producing periods of heavy rain...small hail...locally gusty winds...and deadly lightning. Motorists traveling in these areas should be prepared for slick roads and rapidly changing conditions. These storms will impact Interstate 80 and highway 50. Storms are expected to continue into the evening hours before tapering off.
