At 1 PM...scattered showers were occurring across the mountains with a mixture of sleet at times. The snow level was near 7000 feet. The storms were moving towards the south and southeast. A few isolated thunderstorms may develop this afternoon over the mountains and foothills. Some of these storms may be capable of producing brief periods of heavy rain...locally gusty winds...and small hail. Motorists traveling in the mountains and foothills should be prepared for slick roads and rapidly changing conditions. Showers will continue into the evening hours before tapering off.
Mostly cloudy with scattered rain showers and snow showers. Isolated thunderstorms late in the afternoon. Not as cool. Some thunderstorms may produce small hail and heavy rainfall late in the afternoon. Highs 34 to 49 higher elevations...49 to 61 lower elevations. Snow level 6500 feet. Prevailing southwest winds 10 to 15 mph.
Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain and snow showers in the evening...then partly cloudy after midnight. Lows 24 to 39 higher elevations...37 to 45 lower elevations. Snow level 7500 feet. Prevailing southwest winds around 10 mph with gusts to around 25 mph shifting to the east up to 10 mph after midnight.
