A few isolated thunderstorms may develop this afternoon over the mountains and foothills. Some of these storms may be capable of producing brief periods of heavy rain...locally gusty winds...and small hail. Motorists traveling in the mountains and foothills should be prepared for slick roads and rapidly changing conditions. Showers will continue into the evening hours before tapering off.
